Location and Access
At Singleton Beach, you have to pay for parking (meter) or you can park for free at more distant locations. For example, you can access Singleton Beach from Chaplin Community Park where there is a large public parking lot. The entrance to the beach is free.
Amenities and Shops
Singleton Beach has no restroom and shower facilities but you can use those at Chaplin Community Park or Burkes Beach. Singleton Beach boasts a central location in the middle of the island, which is conveniently close to dining, shopping, golfing, and other activities.

Sports, Watersports, and Rentals
You can rent beach stuff including boogie boards, floats, noodles, etc. at various locations nearby. There are also watersport rentals for kayaking, paddle boarding, crabbing, fishing, parasailing, and jet skiing.
The beach is also close to Chaplin Community Park where you can find basketball courts, tennis courts, multi-purpose fields, a dog park, and walking paths. You can bike along well-maintained trails or along the beach for miles.
Other Activities on the Beach
Some people come here to fish but they do it not near others so they don’t disturb sunbathers and swimmers.
If you want to see little hatchlings making their way to the ocean, you should come during the turtle nesting season and visit the beach at night or very early in the morning.
If you like exercising in the open air, you can visit morning yoga classes or you can come to exercise by yourself. By the way, sunrises on Singleton Beach are fantastic!
If you take a stroll or a bike ride, keep an eye out for shells, crabs, sand dollars, dolphins, and all kinds of birds.
