It is one of the loveliest beaches you’ll find on the Gulf coast. The sand is fine, pristine, and literally white while the water is emerald and perfectly clean and clear – except for some accidental litter tourists sometimes leave. You can have a wonderful walk with a breeze along a ¾ mile loop trail with signs telling about the surrounding plants. Educational!

There are many covered picnic areas, pavilions with grills and tables, where you can cook your own food and enjoy dining in the open air with a great view of the gulf. All the restrooms, changing rooms, and showers are neat and clean, which makes visiting the beach quite comfortable.
