Location and Access
Sunshine Beach Club is located at 13514 Lauren Avenue in the Florida Naturist Park, Hudson, Florida. Membership fees are reasonable. They accept only cash.
History Remarks
Florida Naturist Park was created in 1959 and became the third naturist venue in Pasco County, which is considered to be the nudist capital of the USA. Soon after its creation, the park became a pilgrimage site for the so-called Naturist Religious Society. Now it’s owned by Art Gulvin and includes a few acres of amenities for nudist recreation. Yearly membership costs $140.
Club Facilities
The club offers the most basic amenities such as restrooms, showers with hot and cold water, washers and dryers. Otherwise, there isn’t much infrastructure here.
If you like picnics in the fresh air, bring your favorite food – you can make use of the club’s grills and picnic tables. Overall, the club facilities are okay to use but require more maintenance and cleaning.
Swimming Conditions
The lakeside beach is picturesque and offers some relaxing naked swimming and sunbathing far from crowds and noise. The lake is small and probably not a fanciful place to swim, but dipping in on a hot summer day is definitely enjoyable. If the day is way too hot, you can always hide from the sun in the shade of trees – just bring a chair and a good book.
Outdoor Activities
Apart from nude swimming and sunbathing, Sunshine Beach Club offers a small variety of outdoor activities such as picnicking, making bonfires, camping and playing volleyball. If you bring a book, you can read. Well, there isn’t much entertainment and you’re likely to enjoy your stay if you’re a nature lover and seeking a bit of tranquility and seclusion.
