Loved by families as well as youth, Panama City Beach is free and accessible to everyone. Powder-white sand and crystal clear water - PCB is a must-visit from May to late September.
The variety of food and snack options to pick from is infinite. Restaurants range from casual to upscale. Lots of partying going on even in winter, and many events have free entrance. The beach is well-maintained. Nets in place for volleyball enthusiasts. All kinds of entertainment and gear for you to rent - from jetski to beach wheelchairs (did you even know these exist?).
Make time to take a few pictures on the pier ($3 entrance) and watch the sunset with your loved ones. Note, that our map below is pointing at the pier's exact location.
Parking is free, but make sure you are leaving your car in a proper place, because you probably don’t need another ticket. The only thing that kept bothering me was the amount of cigarette butts scattered all around the place.
If you are planning out a family vacation, make sure your schedule does not overlap with any of the crazy spring break parties. A great amount of lodging options are available - look for condos across the street from the beach with a view.
What we loved
- The atmosphere and cleanliness
- Dolphins!
- Food options... Too many ๐
