You will enjoy lounging in the shade at this cute 2nd row beach house. There is a cozy outdoor living space provided along with off-street parking. The house along with the furnishings have been completely updated. The beach is a 5 minute walk and town is a 5 minute drive. You will love the decor, and the privacy! The house is pet friendly.

Folly Beach is back open! Vacation rentals and beach activities are all city approved. Social distancing between groups on the beach and in public should still be practiced. One of Folly's favorite stays, 'Folly's Best Kept Secret' is a completely renovated beach house with all the comforts of home. Centrally located, the home is just a short walk (4 minutes) to the beach and the fishing pier, which also happens to be one of the best surf breaks on the island! Dine at one of the great restaurants, then take a walk on the beach or if you prefer, watch the sunset from the pier. The wide sandy beach is ideal for sunbathing, swimming, fishing, or launching small sailboats. The National Park Service and the Town of Sullivan's Island maintain over a mile of undeveloped, protected beach and maritime forest adjacent to the property where you can have undisturbed strolls on the beach. The condo is immediately next door to Fort Moultrie, a National Historic Site with museum and tours, that played significant roles in both the Revolutionary War and Civil War. Fort Sumter, site of the first conflict of the Civil War, can be seen across the harbor. The main channel into Charleston lies nearby, allowing clear views of every ship passing into or out of the harbor. Dolphins play just offshore.

Eat out on the higher second deck to watch the dolphins play offshore. or if you don't want to cook, there are a variety of restaurants in downtown Folly to experience. You can take surfing or kayak lessons by appointment, or you can boogie board in the ocean for free. Parasailing and restaurants is only 5 blocks away. County water park is 10 minutes away. Historic Downtown Carriage rides are only 15 miles away. Museum Mile downtown includes both children's and adult museums.
