Location and Access
Located three miles north of Pawleys Island and 30 minutes south of Myrtle Beach, Litchfield Beach is a part of Grand Strand. North Litchfield and Litchfield-By-The-Sea are within Litchfield Beach. The town has a few public beach access areas with free entrance and plenty of space for everybody.

Litchfield Beach is renowned for its serene beaches with a laid-back atmosphere. The shore is divided into private beaches and several public beach areas. The entire coast is beautiful – soft white sand and clear blue water, quite clean and usually not too crowded. The surf is often very light – just perfect for kids to play in.

The beach boasts picturesque views and is good for long relaxing walks. Besides, there is a 26-mile Waccamaw Neck Bikeway for jogging, walking, and biking. If you stay in the area overnight, don’t miss the sunset!
