Ocean Park is a small oceanfront park with a paved parking lot and easy access to the beach located in North Myrtle Beach. It is a nice well-maintained and usually uncrowded spot popular with family visitors, couples, and some individual tourists.

Location and Access
In order to reach Ocean Park, take Ocean Boulevard to 1st Avenue South, one block south of Main Street. The address details are 101 South Ocean Boulevard, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The park is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. There is a paved parking lot charged at the rate of $2 per hour.
The park is equipped with all the necessary amenities to make your recreation easy and comfortable. There are numerous restroom facilities and beach showers to rinse the seawater off your body.
If you’re looking forward to a picnic, bring your favorite food and occupy one of the picnic shelters. Otherwise, you can get some snacks and drinks from the seasonal concessions or vending machines. Family visitors will appreciate the children’s playground.

There are grocery stores, gift shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, and coffee shops – all within walking distance.
The beach is wide, flat, clean, and usually not overcrowded. The sand is white and soft – walking barefoot feels good. The waters of the Atlantic are gorgeous – turquoise and clear. You’ll have good chances to see turtles during the turtle nesting season. There are also dolphins, stingrays, and sharks in these waters.
The beach rules allow bringing dogs on a leash. However, be aware that some visitors let their pets run off-leash.
