There is a metered public parking lot. The parking fee is lower than in many other places. On weekends and holidays, it is better to get there before noon if you want to get a parking space. The park is ADA accessible.
Amenities, Eateries, and Shops
The park has public restrooms, which are located near the parking lot. There are also water fountains for drinking water and outdoor showers to help you get rid of the sand after the beach activities. If you bring some snacks and drinks, there is plenty of room for picnicking and even a table with benches. Eateries and shops are very close.
Playgrounds
If you have children, they will be fond of the various play installations in the park, which include slides, panels, swings, shaded canopies, etc. They are intended for 5 to 12-year-old children and include ADA accessible play components.

Beach
The beach is just a few steps away. It looks picture-postcard – fine white sand and crystal clear blue and green water. Splendid! However, like all the other Miami beaches, this one sometimes gets covered in seaweed so be prepared for that possibility. Otherwise, swimming is enjoyable and safe – there are lifeguards on duty.
Dog Policies
Good news for dog owners – the park has a designated dog area so you can take your four-legged friend with you!
