Volente Beach Resort and Waterpark is one of the wonderful Lake Travis beaches. It is a boutique waterpark with 4 acres of Lake Travis waterfront, offering several slides, pools, indoor and outdoor dining places, bungalows for rent, and a private beach for sunbathing and swimming.
Most visitors are families with small children – the little ones are just fond of the slide attractions and pools, while their parents can enjoy good restaurant cuisine and live music on the edge of the lake. It’s a convenient lakeside destination with quick and easy access, which is good for a few-hour stay with kids.
Location And Access
The waterpark isn’t open every day and its working hours are subject to change, so it’s better to call the office for current information before planning a visit. The parking lot is off-site, so you may have to pay an additional fee for parking.
Food And Drinks
You can bring your own food and drinks and have a picnic on the shore. In addition to this opportunity, the resort also offers several dining facilities, including Blu’s Bar and Beachside Billy’s Restaurant, with a good choice of dishes and drinks, live music, and friendly service.

There are several picnic tables near the sidewalk. Restroom facilities are located at the top of the hill, and they aren’t always clean.
Water Fun And Recreation
The waterpark is small and offers mild slides and shallow pools, which are able to entertain only children. The good news is that it’s convenient to watch your kids and relax, without the necessity to run around the entire park. There are lifeguards on duty, not always watchful though. Apart from the slides and pools, which are more appropriate for kids, the resort also has its own little beach with a protected swim area by Lake Travis. For more fun, you may bring your tubes and floaties.
